How to use my trade entry and Exit triggers

I commence with my humblest gratitude to The Most Benevolent, The Ultimate All-Knower of hidden and obvious.

Trading with forecast, along with the trading system: Following just the forecast alone, would have meant an unwise trading strategy. However, using with my own devised trading plan, would have let you stayed out of the market and let you keep your trading capital.

  1. Without knowing what strike price you have, and what expiration date of your position, no one can advice (including I) as what to do with the positions.

Time decay is one of the detriments, if price does not move in the direction of expected trade. If a stock, like AAPL, has been sitting within a range, then it would have deflated much of the option premium.

  2. what now, FOMC killed selloff or its fake ?

im tired, every selloff is terminated before end of session

since july bulls are unbeatable, when this will end ?

  3. Thanks Mr.Syed,

Considering that we may be on the brink of a huge, unprecedented downturn, would you consider giving longer range price targets? If so, would you be able to give the longer range forecasts for GOOG, PCLN, CME.

Thanks. Also, any idea when we will bottom out before turning back up?

    Patrick.

  4. im siting on 250 aug puts and yes, this option lost a LOT in value because of consolidation..

so sharp move down is the only rescue for my deposit

charts are showing that its possible because aapl is breaking down from triangle

but if today there will be rally up after FOMC then case is done because expiration time is almost over

do you think that keeping this options is suicide and i should evacuate or keep it for few more days ?

to be honest i lost so much on it that even rally after fomc would not make a big difference.. so maybe i should give it a shot..

  5. Trading in speculation is an endeavor that requires emotions to be left at the door. Vanity, and flip flop can play havoc on positions. You must have a plan before entering a trade. Luc and Patrick I suggest you reexamine your strategies so as not to let every move up and down question your plan. I wish you both the best. Thanks to Syed who gives his detailed thoughts here.
